New AHRC Funding Opportunity for Collaborative Research

Three specifically collaborative research funding opportunities in one morning.

 

A highlight notice for the follow-on funding scheme (for those who have already received AHRC funding)  but with an emphasis on international development. This is a further part of the funding initiative around Official Development Assistance / international development.  It’s of direct interest to CC-ers because it requires the inclusion

  •  as a minimum, [of] collaboration with at least one non-academic organisation which supports international development (e.g. international aid, development or humanitarian relief organisation/ charity or organisations supporting international cultural exchange) or at least one non-academic organisation working or based in an ODA recipient country (e.g. heritage/ faith/creative /community group or business, public or voluntary/ non-profit/ civil society organisation).

Highlight Notice, International Decade for People of African Descent, Research Networks

 

This second new AHRC highlight notice is for research networks proposals will be of particular interest to some CC-ers because ‘it is intended to specifically encourage proposals which:

  • include engagement with, or the participation of, researchers and/or communities of African descent and/or with relevant community, cultural, heritage, creative or professional organisations or relevant providers of community services.

This new AHRC highlight notice is for research networks proposals. It’ll be of particular interest to some CC-ers because ‘it is intended to specifically encourage proposals which:

  • support the development of collaborations with researchers and/or non-academic partners (e.g. cultural, creative and heritage organisations, charities and NGOs, voluntary, non-profit, civil society, public or private sector organisations) in one or more of the 146 countries’…
